Hands up if you love a good candle! Traditional candles can unfortunately include steric acid and beeswax, which is why they often aren’t vegan. Paraffin wax is usually used and is vegan on it’s own, however is from a non-renewable source, so is not an ideal choice.
Soy wax candles are non-toxic and also leave considerable less black soot in jars/tins than paraffin wax. It is also from a renewable source (soybeans), unlike paraffin wax (petroluem, oil or coal).
Yay for eco-friendly, better smelling, vegan, biodegradable, eco-friendly soy candles!
